The mission of the Legislative Affairs Committee is to research and review political issues, bills/legislation that will potentially affect the local business community either positively or negatively. We believe that we should publicly take positions supporting our members and the business community and that we should educate our members and the larger business community about these issues and legislation/bills.

The Irvine Chamber of Commerce in partnership with 365 Consultant Inc. is hosting the Cleantech India seminar on October 27 – 28th. The two-day long seminar is designed to raise awareness about India's open business environment for innovation and commercialization, encourage business partnerships with Indian companies, and for expansion into the Indian market by US clean technology companies.

Cleantech India will provide an opportunity to find, meet and connect with potential strategic partners. For companies wishing to participate, the conference will give them a chance to gain exposure in both domestic and international markets, and further enhance awareness of products and services. The event will also provide a great opportunity to network with industry leaders and government contacts.

This program will feature brief presentations by a number of young companies. Learn about new technologies, emerging Internet services, and new ideas presented by others. A panel of guest judges will ask questions of the presenters, and participants in the webinar can also ask questions and make comments. This is a great venue to meet budding companies.
