Recently, a Chinese delegation comprised of the Hangzhou Government Management Group made a stop at the Irvine Chamber to learn about the City's economic development initiatives.

The visiting group was most interested in learning about business retention and attraction strategies in Irvine as well as venture capital and support for start-ups.The group was on a four-city tour from San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York and Washington D.C.

In recent years, Irvine has attracted international attention due to being a master-planned community. The Irvine Chamber often hosts delegations from abroad in an effort to foster economic relations, create new business partnerships and share its best practices.
