IRVINE, Calif. – April 9, 2009 Need a crash course in search engine marketing (SEM)? Look no further than the Irvine Chamber’s Web Site Boot Camp. Taking place on Friday, May 15, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Irvine Chamber office, this seminar will cover the most current information on everything you need to know to get ahead of the game, from pay-per-click advertising to site mapping for better results.

The seminar will kick off with keynote speaker Joseph Aldrich, Principal Consultant at The Cypress Group, and also feature Nikki Jackson, President of GoldRanking Search Engine Optimization; Zubin Mowlavi, Managing Director at Lucid Fusion; Rebekah King, CEO of ReBiz Works; Mitch Albert, a partner and instructor at Orange County Search Engine Academy; Jenny Wang, owner of Jenny Wang Design; and Alex Gonzalez, CEO of Branch Interactive.

Registration for the event is $295 per person for Irvine Chamber members. Non-members are welcome to attend for $395 per person. Registration includes the seminar, breakfast, lunch, Internet access, and additional course materials. As the main goal of the seminar is for attendees to physically work on improving their company’s Web site, they are encouraged to bring a notebook computer. Notebooks are available for rent for $25.
