What is an Ambassador, and what do they do?
Ambassadors actively promote the Irvine Chamber of Commerce in the business community by referring prospective members to the Chamber and working with new Chamber members to connect them to the organization and existing members to help them stay involved.
Ambassadors are the hosts at Chamber events and activities. They greet and introduce new members and guests to Chamber members, answer questions about membership and participation, and represent the Chamber by attending grand opening ceremonies, mixers, and other Chamber events..
Ambassadors deliver the official Chamber new member packages and plaques, orienting each new member about the various committees and ways in which they can become connected and promote their business. Each Ambassador has the ability to deliver and mentor at least one new member each month and call the member to whom they delivered the previous month as a follow up.
The Ambassadors Committee meets monthly on the fourth Thursday at 7:45 a.m.
