Emerging Professionals


The Emerging Professionals group in the Irvine Chamber strives to develop those looking to climb the professional ladder through networking, philanthropic and learning opportunities. Though it is a group that was formed with the mindset of helping younger professionals find their footing in their respective careers, the EP Group provides benefits for professionals in career transitions and/or someone looking to continue to hone their business and networking skills. This group has an energetic mix of members whose background range from non-profit organizations to Fortune 500 corporations.




After Hours Mixer


The bi-monthly After Hours Mixers provide the opportunity for networking in a relaxed, social setting. Local top executives are featured at each event, sharing their story of success, mistakes and advice for those young in their career. Attendees represent a variety of industries and organizations and the venues vary, enabling guests to sample cuisine from Orange County’s premier restaurants. The mixers are held on the 2nd Tuesday of every other month from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Admission is FREE for Chamber members, and $25 for visitors.




Lunch & Learn


The Lunch & Learn workshops are designed meet the needs of today’s young businessperson. Experts in their field discuss relevant issues and answer questions in a panel format. Past topics include “Dress for Success”, “Sales & Marketing” and “Social Media Networking.” Lunch is included with admission at $10 for Chamber members and $25 for Visitors. The workshops are held at the Irvine Chamber office.

Young Professional of the Year Award


Each year the Irvine Chamber Emerging Professionals recognize a future leader in the business community. Nominations are reviewed by the Emerging Professionals Committee, Irvine Chamber Board Members and the Chamber’s President & CEO. The recipient is recognized at the annual EP Anniversary Mixer in the presence of 100+ colleagues. Nominations from coworkers, employers, family members, and beyond are all accepted.
