Ribbon Cutting Procedures
The Irvine Chamber of Commerce would like to help introduce your business to the community. If you are preparing for a grand opening, have recently remodeled, have a new location or an anniversary celebration, let the Irvine Chamber of Commerce celebrate with you!
The date of the ribbon cutting is very important. All ribbon cuttings must be received by the 20th of each month to be confirmed for a ribbon cutting the following month. Ribbon Cutting Ceremonies must be held during the following weekday hours, Monday-Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm, Friday 8:30am-12:30pm.
The Chamber will send your ribbon cutting information to our Ambassadors, Chamber Board of Directors, Assemblymen, and State Representatives. We encourage you to invite family, friends, colleagues, media, etc.
To invite an Irvine City Council Member and/or the Mayor of Irvine, please follow these instructions:
1. Complete the online Invitation to Irvine City Council
2. To provide updated information please contact: invitecouncil@cityofirvine.org
Your ribbon cutting photo and description will be featured in the chamber’s publication “The Business Connection”. Announcements will be in the Chamber Weekly the week of your ceremony, and the Chamber website. The chamber will provide specialty scissors, camera, photographer and ribbon for the ceremony. Have fun! This is your opportunity to let the community know all about your business.
